Ancient Indonesian Jatim bird-star bead ancient reproductions. Average 17mm.  The Bird and Star were important iconic motif in ancient Indonesian beads.  Each bead has a bird on one side and a star on the other.  This  is perfect focal beads in a necklace set. Jatim beads were produced in eastern and central Java, Indonesia from 900AD and earlier. These contemporary  Indonesian beads are excellent replicas of the ancient beads.
